After Everything is a movie I watched with my mom, and she and I have gotten really into the After series. Barbie was also really good. It made me cry and I watched it with two of my best friends. Thanksgiving was awesome! I watched it with my boyfriend and my cousin and her boyfriend.”

45% of students said their favorite comedy movie from 2023 was Barbie. Sophomore Kaylee Ryan said “My favorite 2023 movie was Barbie because it had a good message.”

The top musical movie with 45% of students voting for it was Wonka. Even though Wonka was the most popular musical movie, Mean Girls was definitely a close second. Freshman Ava Kruger said “My overall favorite movie was probably Mean Girls. It was a good movie and I followed the plot of the movie easily. I enjoyed the movie very much.”

48% of students said that The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes was their favorite action movie from 2023.

Murder Mystery 2 is the top drama movie with 53% of votes. Senior Kaylee Morris stated “Murder Mystery 2!!!! I just loved the first one soooo much I had to watch the second one. SO SO gooood.”
