The Slushie Machine Problem

New inventory stock in The Forge

Ms. Bird is a teacher at Mancelona High School and is the main person in charge of the school store called The Forge. On Monday we got a new slushie machine and on Tuesday we finally opened it up and put it on the table to be ready for testing.

The reason we haven't been selling slushies for a couple of weeks is that our previous one had something wrong and could have been damaged during shipping we have been waiting for the new one to arrive and on Monday we got it and on Tuesday we finally opened the box and by the Wednesday coming up, we should have the slushie machine up and running again. When we had to open the wooden crate we had to go to Mr. G’s woodshop classroom and borrow a rubber mallet and a thick screwdriver to pry off the clamps on the create and we then had to take off one of the side panels to make it easier to grab and lift the new slushie machine.

The seal on one of the pipes on the previous slushie machine was leaking pretty bad from shipping damage and it got worse the more we started to use the machine. So we took it back to Walmart so we could buy a new slushie machine from the grant that we recently got to buy another new slushie machine for The Forge.

We made a mess while opening the box of the slushie machine. We also started testing the slushie machine to see if it could make slushies with Hawaiian Punch and Kool-Aid mix to make the slushies. The new slushie machine is something that we are excited about and are happy that we are going to be selling slushies again soon.

Ms. Bird is a teacher in the high school at Mancelona, her 4th hour runs the store in the school called The Forge, which has all kinds of snacks for the kids to enjoy.

The reason they have some new items in stock for The Forge is that they wanted some new things that might be the next hit for The Forge. How? Because they bought some and are testing them out. The Forge has a wide variety of things that you can buy with your money and help out The Forge. The staff at The Forge were discussing what new things they might want to add and see how they perform. The first major thing that hit was cotton candy. It's a little slow with the sales of cotton candy sales, but they now have some new things to sell at The Forge. The Forge now has some new items that the students might enjoy.
